I wonder if there's a way to have Twitter automatically unfollow anyone who uses #smday in a post.

Thanks for the thoughtful post. While I have been somewhat involved in our local SM Day events, I also find the idea a bit troubling. For me it reinforces the idea that somehow people who are active social media users need to have special events to be dragged out of the nerdy shadows into actual human conversations.

I find the opposite to be true...the more I am involved on social media, the more real-world interactions we have

It's all about "Socialnomics," man. It's the new machine, and its grinding up communicators like so many stripped gears.

I agree whole heartedly to your point about reframing the stats. I just found this video that I know you'll absolutely adore: http://bit.ly/dacG4o Let me know.

Great post, BTW.

Ryan, please buy us coffee. You can use our good deed ticket when you do so and in return we will halt on spreading rumors about you for one day only.

Ryan,

Ahwatukee won't be the same without you. Actually, come to think of it, yes it will. It's cookie cutter. You fortunately are not.

Congrats on living the dream!

And good luck. Stay in touch (but don't touch me).

I'm going to pretend that photo isn't posted of me. However, that easel really does look like headgear which is impressive so maybe I wont kill you for posting it.

I've been meaning to ask you, are you really leaving? please say this is just the most elaborate prank you've ever played. If you are leaving that's fine, just leave me Joy.

What no photo? I am truly honored, and will miss you and Joy. You have been an inspiration personally and professionally.

Since you left the image out, I have included a graphic representation for all that may not know me. (yes I am an art director)
